Privacy Policy
Who We Are
Our website address is: https://armsdepot.co.
Orders & Account Information
When you place an order, we collect the information needed to process it — name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and the items purchased. If you create an account, we store your order history and saved details so you don’t have to re-enter them on future orders.
Payment Information
Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers — that data is handled directly by our payment processor in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
Comments
If visitors leave comments or product reviews on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you’re using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once a comment is approved, your profile picture is visible publicly alongside it.
Media
If you upload images to the site (for example, in a product review), avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from any image posted publicly.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to having your name, email, and website saved in a cookie so you don’t have to re-enter that information next time. These cookies last one year.
Our login page sets a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log into your account, we set cookies to keep you logged in and remember your display preferences. Login cookies last two days (two weeks if you select “Remember Me”); display-preference cookies last a year. Logging out removes your login cookies.
We also use cart and checkout cookies to keep track of the items in your cart as you shop.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content — for example, a manufacturer’s product video. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you’d visited the other website directly: it may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the content, including if you’re logged into that site.
Who We Share Your Data With
We share order information with the services required to fulfill it: our payment processor, our shipping carriers. If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Order and transaction records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them for moderation.
If you have an account, we store the information in your profile until you ask us to delete it. You can view, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except your username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account, have placed an order, or have left a comment, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase personal data we hold about you — this doesn’t include data we’re legally required to retain, including records tied to tax and accounting obligations.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service. Payment data is sent to our payment processor to complete transactions. Shipping data is sent to our carriers.
